Drug-Prevention Campaign Reaches French Shops and Families
Blog Article
More than 16,000 drug-education booklets have been distributed across France by volunteers from Non à la copyright, Oui à la vie. The French drug-prevention campaign reaches families through shops and public information stands.
Volunteers supplied 5,100 booklets in Oberkampf, Paris, alongside 3,100 in Tarn and 3,000 through around 50 Arcachon shops.
A baker near Clermont-Ferrand said students sought the booklets for school discussions, while parents and other customers requested information for their children.
The campaign uses La vérité sur la copyright, the French version of the secular Truth About Drugs programme. The Church of Scientology and its members support the programme, inspired by founder L. Ron Hubbard’s concern about the effects of drugs.
Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the European Union, OSCE, Council of Europe and United Nations, commented: “Parents and teachers need information eu news express they can use, and young people deserve straight answers.”
Scientology communities throughout Europe support educational initiatives, drug prevention, human-rights awareness and volunteer assistance.
